WARNING
POTENTIAL HAZARD
Improper care when refueling.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
Fuel can spill, which can cause a fire
and severe injury.
Fuel expands when it heats up. If the
fuel tank is overfilled, fuel could spill out
due to heat from the engine or the sun.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Do not overfill the fuel tank. Be careful
not to spill fuel, especially on the engine
or exhaust pipe. Wipe up any spilled fuel
immediately. Be sure the fuel tank cap is
closed securely.

Engine oil

Make sure that the engine oil is at the speci-
fied level. Add oil if necessary. (See pages
8-8–8-9 for details.)
CAUTION:
Make sure that no foreign material enters
the crankcase.
Recommended engine oil type and
quantity:
See page 10-3.

Transmission oil

Make sure the transmission oil is at the speci-
fied level. Add oil as necessary. (See pages
8-16–8-17 for details.)
Recommended oil:
SAE 90 gear oil
