The charger's yellow and green lights are on but the battery is not charging. I've tried the rotary saw and the drill to no avail.

The Ryobi CID1442P charger shows yellow and green lights when it is in control charge mode. Normally, it should switch to fast charge mode within 5 minutes. If the yellow and green lights remain on after 15 minutes, the battery pack should be removed, waited for 1 minute, and then reinserted. If the yellow and green lights continue to stay on for another 15 minutes, the battery pack is defective and will not accept a charge.

@Mr. Anderson The charger was on for longer than 15 minutes and the lights remained the same. If defective, the charger is very hard to replace. Do you know where another might be available?
