Turning on the television

To turn on the TV, press
TV.
NOTE:
• If the TV is not going to be used for a long period
of time, unplug the power cord from the AC outlet
to remove AC power.

Standby mode and LED indicator

Press on the remote control when the TV is on.
• This will put the TV into standby mode. The image
on the TV will disappear and the
the TV will change from green to red. (See
page 5.)
• Small amounts of electrical power are being used
when the TV is in standby mode. To completely
remove power from the TV, unplug the power cord
from the AC outlet.
• There is an active standby mode and a passive
standby mode.
