Recording Motion Images

ªAvailable settings in motion image mode
•Macro mode (P42)
•Unlimited recording
•Spot recording
• The remaining time displayed on the LCD monitor is the approximation.
• It is possible to record motion images maximum of 20 seconds.
• After recording motion images, the status indicator blinks while the images are
recorded to the memory card, and after recording completion it lights. Do not
operate during the recording.
• When setting [MOTION IMAGE] to [ON], you cannot select [BURST],
[PICT.SIZE], [QUALITY] and [D.ZOOM].
• If using the MultiMediaCard, after recording motion images, the screen may
appear grey, but this is not a malfunction.
• When recording is started, the auto focus and zoom are locked (with the first
frame).

• Insert the card. (P16)
• Set the REC/power switch to [ON]. (P18)

Press the [MENU] button.

Press 3/4 to select [MOTION
IMAGE].

Press 2/1 to select [ON].

Center the subject on the LCD
monitor and press the shutter button
halfway.
• Adjust the focus.

Pressing the shutter button fully, the
recording starts.
• During recording, the status indicator
blinks.
• Audio is not recorded.
• Picture size is set at 320 × 240 pixels.

Pressing the shutter button fully
again, recording stops.
• If during the recording the memory of
the card becomes full, the recording
is stopped automatically.
