Getting started

Remove the cover to insert the battery and memory
card.
Hold the camcorder with the battery
compartment cover facing upwards.
Remove the cover as depicted on the right.
Place the battery with the lettering facing
downwards in the designated compartment in
the camcorder.
Take an SD memory card and slide this into the SD card slot which is
underneath the battery compartment.
Ensure that the contacts on the card are facing downwards.
To close the cover, place the cover on the battery compartment and push the cover
upwards until it clicks into place.
To remove the battery, remove the cover and take the battery out.
To remove the memory card, press the memory card until you hear a click in the
slot and then let go. The memory card will be automatically ejected a little from
the slot so that you can remove the card.

Charging the battery

To charge the battery connect the camcorder to the power supply.
Plug the mains adapter into a 230 V ~ 50 Hz socket.
The battery requires approximately six hours to reach full charge for the first
time.
