Memorizing Settings for
Often Viewed DVDs
(Condition Memory)
You can memorize details for the following nine settings.
Once memorized, Condition Memory will automatically recall the settings.
Direct search (page 21)
Karaoke mode/Normal mode (page 26)
Multi-Aspect (page 36)
Cinema mode/Animation mode (page 38)
Multi-language (page 43)
Multi-language subtitles (page 44)
Multi-Angle (page 44)

Note
When there is a power outage, the power is turned off during
playback, with the STANDBY/ON button on the main unit or you
disconnect the player from the wall outlet while the power is
ON, settings are cleared. Before disconnecting the power cord,
press the STANDBY/ON button on the remote control to enter
the unit to standby mode after distinguishing the "– OFF –"
display, then press the STANDBY/ON button on the main unit.

• "COND. MEMO" will
appear on the TV screen.
You can store settings for DVDs you often watch in
memory. Settings remain in memory even if you remove
the disc from the player, or switch power to the player OFF.
If you load a disc that has its settings memorized, the
Condition indicator lights. When you start playing the disc,
the memorized settings are automatically recalled.
When a disc that has memorized settings is loaded...
"COND. MEMO" will appear on the screen, and the previously
memorized settings will be selected.
Erasing the recorded contents
Load the disc that has memorized settings, and press the
button during "COND. MEMO" has been displayed,. The disc's
recorded data will be erased.
Tips
¶ Settings are stored in memory for use any time.
¶ You can store settings for up to 30 DVDs in memory. If you
memorize settings for more than 30 DVDs, previously memorized
settings are erased in order from the least recently memorized
settings. After that, if you try to call up these previously memorized
settings, you will get the latest settings that have taken their place.
¶ To make changes to Aspect ratio, Cinema mode/Animation mode,
subtitle language, and language settings, press
playback.
¶ Switching of the multi-audio mode etc., is automatic on some
discs.
