But the colours may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter 'N' or coloured black. The wire
which is coloured BROWN must be connected
to the terminal which is marked with the letter
'L' or coloured red.
This appliance is manufactured to conform to
the Low Voltage Electrical Equipment (Safety)
Regulations 1989 and is designed to comply
with BS 3456. It complies with the requirements
of the EEC Directive (89/336/EEC).
Warning: Any error in connecting the
appliance invalidates the guarantee
- Your appliance is for domestic use only
- Never touch appliance parts when in use
- Only Moulinex accessories should be used
- Never let anything hang loose above the
attachments when in use
- Always disconnect the appliance before
handling attachments (assembly, disas-
sembly), after use, before cleaning, and in
case of malfunction.
- Never pull the mains lead to disconnect the
appliance
- Never let the mains lead hang loose near a
heat source or within reach of children.
- Never place the body of the appliance in
water or under running water.
- If the mains lead or the plug are damaged,
do not use your appliance. In order to avoid
any accident, they must be replaced by an
approved Moulinex Centre (see list in the
leaflet «Moulinex Service»).
- Never dismantle the appliance

Using your appliance

- Before using for the first time, clean the
attachments with soapy water. Rinse and dry
carefully.
With the whisks (C) you can prepare light
mixtures such as mayonnaise, egg whites,
sauce, batter, light cake mixtures...
With the dough hooks (D) you can knead
heavy doughs: pastry, brioche, bread..
. Use
- Check that the control switch (B) is in "0"
position.
. According to the type of mixture to be
prepared:
- Insert the whisks (C1 or C2) into the body of
the appliance (A).
- Use identical pairs of whisks.
- Insert the dough hook (D1) into the large hole

and dough hook (D2) into the small hole.
- Never use whisks and dough hooks together
- Start the hand mixer by choosing the required
speed with the help of the control switch (B).
- With the control switch (B) on "0", the
attachments can be removed by simply
pushing the control switch forward.
. Practical Hints
. Speed setting 1 is used when beginning to
whisk, and to avoid splashes
. To Continue whisking choose a higher
setting according to the quantity and
consistency of mixture and the size of the
bowl.
. Turbo speed (instant start) is used to mix
in ingredients more quickly, to give greater
volume and firmness, and when the speed
of the dough hooks is not sufficient to prepare
heavier doughs.
Cleaning
- Unplug the appliance
- Clean the body of the appliance (A) with a
damp sponge only, and dry carefully.
- The other attachments are dishwasher safe.
Storage
Your Easy Max Hand-mixer is equipped
(according to model) with:

- wall support (E) which, when fixed to the wall,
allows the body of the appliance (A), the
whisks (C) and the dough hooks to be easily
stored.
- Mains lead storage device mounted on
suction pad (F).
What to do if your appliance
does not work
- Check:
. that the attachments are inserted correctly
(with the appliance unplugged),
. the electrical connection.
. What to do if your appliance still does not
work : Consult a Moulinex approved service
centre (see list in Moulinex service booklet).
