Edit Recordings

Accessing the title edit menu

The title edit menu allows you to erase a
title, hide/unhide selected segments,
rename, divide it or protect the
recording.
A
Press DISC to access the disc menu.
B
Use keys to select the title to
edit and press
OK
The editing menu appears.
C
Use keys to select { Title } and
press OK.

Erasing a recording

You can delete a specifi c title (recording)
on the recordable DVD disc.
A
In title edit menu, use
{ Erase } and press OK.
A confi rmation message appears.
B
To proceed, select { OK } in the menu
and press OK to confi rm.
To abort, select { Cancel } and press
OK.

Hiding a segment in a title
(DVD±RW only)
This option allows you to hide unwanted
scenes from the recording (e.g.
commercial scene). To do so, you have
to set the beginning (point A) and end
(point B) of the scenes to erase.

In title edit menu, use
{ A-B Hide } and press OK.
The title screen will be in pause mode
by default.

Press u to start playback.
To make a fast search, press m M
keys.
To locate a specifi c frame during
playback, press u to pause the
playback, then press
C
With { Set Point A } highlighted, press
OK to set the beginning point.
D
Locate the end point of the segment to
hide and press u to pause the playback.
E
With { Set Point B } highlighted, press
OK to set the end point.
F
To confi rm, use
{ A-B Hide } and press OK
Helpful Hint:
– To recover all hidden scenes, select
{ Unhide } in the title edit menu.
