Transferring a Call from One Station to Another

The intercom can be used during a call, enabling you to transfer a call between stations (1–9).
Transferring a call using the
intercom
Ex. Station 1 is transferring a call to
Station 2.

Station 1:
During an external call, press
To page one station, enter the desired
station number.
OR
To page all stations, press
The call is put on hold.
You will hear an internal ring back tone
until the other station answers.
If there is no answer, press
return to the external call.

Station 2:
When the unit rings, press
answer.

Transferring a call:
Station 1:
Press .
The transfer is completed.
Station 2 can answer the call.
OR
Ending the intercom:
Station 1:
Press .

Station 1 returns to the call.
You can select the length of the disconnecting
holding line time (15 or 30 minutes) (p. 93).

Transferring a call without
using the intercom
This feature enables you to transfer the call to
another station without waiting for the paged
station to answer.
. Ex. Station 1 is transferring a call to

If the paged station is not answered within 60
seconds , a ring tone sounds at the paging
station. The paging station can return to the
call by pressing
You can select the length of the transfer recall
time (15–240 seconds) (p. 93).
Station 1:

The call is put on hold.
Station 2:
When the unit rings, press
answer the call.
The transfer is completed.
