Accessing the Security Menu
You must enter your lock code to view the Security menu.
To access the Security menu:
From the main menu, highlight
1.
Highlight and press
2. Security
Enter your lock code.

Tip! If you can't recall your lock code, try using the last four digits of
either your Social Security number or Sprint PCS Phone number or
try 0000. If none of these work, call Sprint PCS Customer Solutions at
1-888-211-4PCS (4727).
Locking Your Phone
When your phone is locked, you can only receive incoming calls or make
calls to 911, Sprint PCS Customer Solutions or special numbers.
To lock your phone:
From the Security menu, highlight
1.
Highlight and press
2. Lock Now
Unlocking Your Phone
To unlock your phone:
Highlight and press
1. Unlock
Enter your lock code.

Changing the Lock Code

To change your lock code:
From the Security menu, highlight
1.
Enter your new lock code.
2.
Re-enter your new lock code.

Calling in Lock Mode

You can place calls to 911 and to your special numbers when in lock mode.
To place an outgoing call in lock mode:
To call an emergency number, special number or Sprint PCS Customer
Solutions, enter the phone number and press
numbers, you may also highlight
Call 911

Using Special Numbers

You can save four special numbers in addition to your Internal Phone
Book entries (the same number may be in both directories). You can make
and receive calls from special numbers even when your phone is locked.
To add or replace a special number:
From the Security menu, highlight
1.
Highlight an entry location and press
2.
Enter or replace the special number.
3.
Highlight and press .
4. Ok OK
Note:
There are no Speed Dial options associated with special numbers.

Erasing Special Numbers

To erase a special number:
From the Security menu, highlight
1.
Highlight the number you wish to erase and press
2.
Press and hold to erase the number.
3. CLR
Highlight and press .
4. Ok OK

Erasing the Internal Phone Book

To erase all the names and phone numbers in your Internal Phone Book:
From the Security menu, highlight
1.
If you are certain you wish to erase the entire contents of your Internal
2.
Phone Book, highlight and press
