NEC offers a range of fully integrated touch screen solutions for all of your
interactive signage needs. The NEC range includes the 24-inch EA241WM-BK-DST,
32-inch V321-DST, 40-inch P402-DST and the 46-inch P462-DST.
What is large format touch screen?
A touchscreen is an LCD display that has been fitted with an
overlay that can detect the presence and location of a touch
within the display area. The screens are sensitive to pressure;
a user interacts by touching pictures or words on the screen.
The touchscreen enables one to interact directly with what is
displayed, rather than indirectly with a pointer controlled by a
mouse or touchpad. They play a prominent role in the design
of digital signage solutions and relevant software and viewing

Dispersive Signal Technology (DST)
The V321-DST, P402-DST & P462-DST utilise the MicroTouch™ DST Touch System. DST consists of the anti-glare properties of a chemically-
strengthened glass substrate with piezos mounted on each corner, mated to a sophisticated, dedicated controller. The DST Touch System
determines the touch position by pinpointing the source of "bending waves" created by finger or stylus contact within the glass substrate. This
process helps eliminate traditional performance issues related to on-screen contaminants and surface damage, and provides fast, accurate
touch attributes.
