the people behiNd the GeRAldsoN CoMMuNit y fARM
Since 2005, the Geraldson Community Farm has operated as a Community Supported agriculture program, an
innovative way to connect local consumers with local farmers. Paying for seeds, equipment and labor, 180 members
have invested financially in the farm. each week they come to the farm to receive a portion of that week's harvest.
↓ Growing, harvesting and eating locally grown food increases
freshness and benefits the environment by reducing pollution
caused by transporting the produce over long distances.
↓ the farm's new water retention system has the capacity to collect up to
87,000 gallons of water a year, conserving the area's natural resources and
moving the farm closer to its goal of a zero carbon footprint.

energy, less water resources and no pesticides.
