Testing the Connections

Caution: Make sure you have se-
curely made all connections before
continuing with the installation.
Plug the 14-pin wire harness into the
14-pin wiring socket, then reconnect
the cable to the vehicle battery's neg-
ative terminal.
Turn on your vehicle's ignition and
test the stereo. If the stereo does not
work, immediately turn off your ve-
hicle's ignition, then disconnect
the 14-pin wire harness from the
stereo's 14-pin wiring socket and
disconnect your vehicle battery's
negative (
) cable. Recheck your
connections.

After you verify that everything
works, make sure the connections
are correctly marked or identified.
Then
follow
the
instructions
"Mounting the Stereo."
Note: The 14-pin wire harness has
the following labels.
