Most of your Model H2854 has been assembled
at the factory, but some parts must be assembled
or installed after delivery. We have organized the
assembly process into steps. Please follow along
in the order presented here.
TOOLS REQUIRED: Phillips
driver, 4mm Allen
®
wrench (supplied), 19mm
open end wrench (supplied).

Handles

The two handles supplied with your router come
unattached from the main unit. You will need to
thread them into the mounting holes located on
both sides of the upper router base as shown in
Figure 2. When you want to store the router in its
case, the handles will need to be removed and
threaded back into the case mounting locations.
NOTICE
Be careful not to over-tighten the handles
when installing them into the router unit.
The threads can become stripped if exces-
sive force is used.
