    8. Opening and Switching Applications Multi-tasking is easy with Android because open applications run in the background when you open another application. There’s no need to quit an application before opening another. You are allowed to switch among several open applications. Android manages each application, stopping and starting them as needed, to ensure that idle applications don’t consume resources unnecessarily.

    Quick Keys On the home screen, the Quick Keys are located on a bar along the bottom of the Home screen and the Launch screen. : opens the Phone application which displays the dialpad so you can dial an unsaved number. Includes additional tabs across the top of the screen to access Call log, Contacts and Favorites.
