Tone settings

You can change the tone and
vibrator settings of the currently
selected profile. The same settings
can also be found in the
menu, see page 30.
To access this menu: Press
standby mode, and select

• Message alert tone

the ringing tone list, select
Ringing tone and the desired
tone.
• Alert for to set the phone to ring
only upon calls from phone
numbers that belong to a certain
caller group. See also the
groups setting in the phone book.

Adding new tones to your
phone
For availability of tones via text
messaging (SMS), multimedia
messaging (MMS) or WAP service,
contact your network operator or
service provider. The tones are saved
in the Gallery menu.
Accessory indicators in
standby mode
When a compatible accessory is
connected to the phone, the
corresponding indicator (
) is shown on the display in
standby mode.
