The WowWee Alive Lion Cub may not be working after changing the batteries due to one or more of the following reasons:
1. The main power switch might still be set to OFF. 2. The batteries may not be installed with correct polarity. 3. Old and new or different types of batteries may have been mixed. 4. The Cub may be in Sleep Mode—try waking it by picking it up, touching its head or back, or pressing the quick power button on either ear. 5. The Cub may be in Try Me mode instead of Normal play mode.
