Q: Why does the Hybrid Graphics Card system (a system that has both independent graphics cards and

A: This is a Microsoft limitation. The Hybrid Graphics Card system supports at most three USB-to-DVI
adapters simultaneously.

A: The USB-to-DVI adapter only works when the computer has completed the starting process.
Q: Why does the USB-to-DVI adapter not work when my computer is using a DOS (Disk Operating
System) based system?
A: The USB-to-DVI adapter only works in the Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Q: Why does my DVD player not work when I try to connect the extended monitor?
A: Some DVD player might not support playing DVD on an extended monitor. You can enable the DVD
player on an extended monitor by doing the following:
1. Click the Lenovo USB-DVI Adapter icon
in the lower right corner of your computer screen.
2. Select Advanced... to directly open the Display Settings window.
3. In the Display Settings window, select Settings. Select the serial number of your external monitor and
then select make it the primary display.
