Front Panel

Opens or closes the disc tray to load
Remote Sensor
Point the remote control here.
Disc Tray (DVD deck)
Insert a disc here.
COPY
Press to copy a DVD
in the DVD deck to a
VHS tape in the VCR
deck (see page 25).
VIDEO IN/AUDIO IN
(Left/Right)
Connect the audio/video
output of an external
source (Audio system,
TV/Monitor, Another VCR).
POWER
Turns the DVD+VCR ON and OFF.

DVD EJECT ( Z Z )
or unload discs.
Toggles control between the
DVD deck and the VCR deck.
CH (v v /V V )
To scan up or down
through memorized
channels.
TV VIEW
Changes the view on
your television among all
the DVD+VCR input
sources: DVD, VCR,
Tuner, Line 1, and Line 2.
DVD: Go to beginning of current
Display window
Shows the current status of the DVD+VCR.
Video Cassette Compartment
(VCR deck)
Insert a video cassette here.
Ejects the tape in the VCR deck.
DVD/VCR
REC
To record normally or to
activate One-Touch
Recording.
REW ( m m )
chapter/track or to previous
chapter/track.
Press and hold for fast reverse
search.
VCR: Rewinds the tape during
STOP mode or for fast reverse
picture search.

Child Lock

The Child Lock feature disables the front panel
keys to prevent children from tampering with the
DVD+VCR. Simply press CHILD LOCK on the
remote control to toggle this feature on and off.
VCR EJECT ( Z Z )
PAUSE ( ; ; )
Pause playback
or recording
temporarily /
press repeatedly
for frame-by-
frame playback.
STOP ( x x )
Stops playback.
FF( M M )
DVD: Go to NEXT
chapter/track. Press
and hold for two sec-
onds for fast-forward
search.
VCR: Advances the
tape during STOP
mode or for fast for-
ward picture search.
PLAY
Plays back a recorded
tape.
