Possible Cause
The door of the dishwasher is
not closed properly.
Mains plug is not plugged in. Insert mains plug.
House fuse is defective.
In the case of dishwasher
models with start delay
timer:
A start delay is selected.
The washing compartment is
made from rust-free stainless
steel. Rust spots in the wash-
ing compartment are due to
rust particles from external
sources (rust particles from
water pipes, pans, cutlery,
etc.). Remove such spots with
one of the stainless steel
cleaners that are generally
available on the market.
The whistling is not a cause
for concern.
Remedy
Shut the door.
Replace fuse.
If dishes are to be washed
immediately cancel delay
start timer.
Only wash cutlery and dishes
that are suitable for dish-
washer use.
Close the lid of the special
salt container securely.
Use a different brand of
detergent.
