Do not open the battery cover while the camera is still switched on.
This could damage the xD-Picture Card or corrupt the image files on the xD-Picture Card.
1. Rotate the battery cover to the "UNLOCK" side.
2. Twist the battery cover switch and the battery cover will automatically
open.
3. Push the xD-Picture Card firmly into the xD-Picture Card slot as far
as it will go.
4. Close the battery cover.
5. Rotate the battery cover to the "LOCK"side.
If you open the battery cover while the camera is still switched on, the camera is automatically switched off to protect the xD-Picture
Card.
The xD-Picture Card will not slide fully into the slot if it is inserted facing the wrong way. Be careful not to apply undue force to the xD-
Picture Card.
When storing xD-Picture Card, always use the antistatic case provided.
Replacing an xD-Picture Card
Make sure the camera is switched off. And open the battery cover. You
can then pull the xD-Picture Card the rest of the way out.
