Washing the laundry

Selecting a wash programme
See the programme table below.
m Turn the programme selector clockwise (to
the right), as far as the programme
required.
m Adjust to the appropriate temperature for
the fabrics to be washed using the
temperature selector.
m Press the required additional function
button(s) to select the functions.
Starting a programme
m Check that the door is properly closed. If it
is not properly closed, a safety switch will
prevent the machine from starting.
l
m Press the « ON/OFF» button.The ON
indicator will light up and the machine will
start the programme selected.
Progress of the selected programme
The current state of the wash programme
selected can be seen from the display
incorporated in the programme rotary selector.
Modifying a selected programme
An incorrect wash programme that has been
selected and started can be corrected in the
following way:
Switch off the machine by pressing the
l
« ON/OFF» button. Select the new
programme by turning the rotary selector to the
right (clockwise).
Switch the machine back on by pressing the
l
« ON/OFF» button.
End of wash programme/
Switching off the machine
All the programmes end automatically when the
laundry has been spun. When the «C Hold
rinse button» is pressed, the programme
stops after the final rinse cycle and the laundry
remains in the water.
To spin the laundry, proceed as follows:
m Press the «C Rinse hold» button to
switch it off and turn it to the initial position.
The water is pumped away and the laundry
is spun.
Switch off the machine
l
m Press the « ON/OFF» button.The
machine is switched off. The operating
indicator light goes out.
m Open the door after 2 minutes and take out
the laundry.
! Remove any foreign material or metal
objects (clips, fasteners, money, etc.) which
may have collected in the drum or rubber
seal. Risk of rusting.
Leave the door open so that air can circulate
inside and dry the appliance.
m Press the buttons that were pressed to
switch them off and return them to the
initial position.
m Close the tap.
