Possible picture problems and their solutions

Problem
Repeated spots

Unsharp picture
Cause
The developer rollers inside
the film door need to be
cleaned.
The background was either too
far from the subject or beyond
the flash range.
The subject was too close to
the camera.
Solution
Open the film door (do not do this
in direct sunlight, when there is film
in the camera).
Clean the developer rollers with a
lint-free cloth dampened with
water, if necessary.
Be sure the lighten/darken
control is in center position.
Place your subject near the
background and keep both within
the applicable flash range.
