Alarms and other features Door open alarm If the door remains open for more than about 1 - - 18 ACTION FREEZE minute, the red indicator lamp starts flashing and an audible alarm sounds. To switch off the alarm: Press the alarm shut-off button. As long as the door remains open, the audible alarm will sound anew at 1-minute intervals. -

Freezing You need not press the fast-freezing button when freezing smaller quantities of food during any 24-hour period. ACTION FREEZE In all other cases, press the fast-freezing button approx. 24 hours prior to placing the food in the freezer. Fast-freezing is automatically switched of 48 hours after the button has been pressed. -

A ticking sound from the thermostat can be heard when the compressor switches on and off. The sound level varies depending on the operation of the cabinet. -
