Rename File

The Rename File function is used to rename song, audio, and registration files stored on a USB memory device.
1. Selecting the Rename File function
Connect a USB memory device, then press the USB button to
enter the USB Menu.
Press the
or
MENU buttons then the VALUE
select the Rename File function.
The file selection screen will be shown in the LCD display, listing
song, audio, and registration files stored on the USB memory
device.
* Please refer to page 51 for information about the file selection screen.
2. Selecting the file to be renamed
Press the
or
VALUE buttons to move the selection cursor,
then press the MENU
button to select the file.
The filename entry screen will be shown in the LCD display.
3. Renaming the selected file
Press the
or
VALUE buttons to cycle through the characters,
and the
or
MENU buttons to move the cursor.
* Files are limited to a maximum name length of 11 characters.
4. Confirming the rename
Press the REC button to rename the file.
A confirmation message will be shown in the LCD display.
Press the VALUE
button to confirm the rename operation.
Press the PLAY/STOP button to to cancel the rename operation.
5. Exiting the Rename File function
Press the USB button to exit the Rename File function.
The LED indicator for the USB button will turn off, and the
instrument will return to normal playing mode.
