Getting Started and Main Menu 2. Basic operation 2.1 Preview Note: The button in gray display indicates nonsupport. You can right click mouse to choose the switch between the windows. The system date, time and channel name are shown in each viewing window. The surveillance video and the alarm status are shown in each window.
2.2 Login System When the DVR boots up, the user must login and the system provides the corresponding functions with the user privilege. There are three user settings. The names are admin, guest and default and these names have no password. Admin is the super user privilege; guest and default’s permissions are preview and video playback.

Step 6: Set the corresponding IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway on the DVR. If the subnet mask and default gateway on the DVR are the same as those of the PC, then the IP address must be in the same network section but cannot be the same as the used one.
5 FAQ and maintenance 5.1 FAQ If the problems are not listed, please contact the local service or call the HQ service. We are willing to offer the service. The DVR cannot boot up normally. Possible reasons are as follows: The power supply is not correct.
