    For example, a pair of TP-300FW units (see Figure 2) lets you extend the FireWire range to up to 100m (300ft), and connecting three TP-300FW units (see Figure 3) lets you extend the FireWire range to up to 200m (600ft), using common and inexpensive Shielded or Unshielded Twisted Pair cable.
