10. Connect the antenna cables to the new PCI Express Mini Card as shown in the drawing.
Note: Depending on the model, the marking for the connectors on your card might look different from
the one shown in the illustration above. Be sure to attach the red cable to the MAIN or M connector,
and the blue cable to the AUX or A connector.
11. Reinstall the slot cover and tighten the screw.
12. Reinstall the battery and turn the computer over again. Then reconnect the ac power adapter and
all cables.

Replacing the backup battery

Before you start, print these instructions.
DANGER
If the backup battery is incorrectly replaced, there is danger of an explosion. The backup battery
contains a small amount of harmful substances. To avoid possible injury:
• Replace only with a battery of the type recommended by Lenovo.
• Keep the battery pack away from fire.
• Do not expose it to excessive heat.
• Do not expose it to water or rain.
• Do not short-circuit it.
