    WorldNav 3000 XL Quick Start Method Plug in the WorldNav 3000 XL to the 12v cigarette lighter in your vehicle. Plug the power cord into the lower of the two holes on the right side of the GPS. The GPS will power on when you turn your car on.
  • Page 11 GPS on the dash to help stabilize it against vibration. Flip the built-in receiver up and pointed towards your windshield. The WorldNav 3000 XL will automatically lock into your GPS position; there is no configuration required. The GPS will know your direction of travel only once you begin to move.

    This allows you to create a route to any intersection if you don't know the exact address of where you are going. Press the <Menu> button and then scroll over to the <Find> button. Press <Find>. © 2006 TeleType Co.

POI Search Options Select <By nearest> for the purposes of this tutorial. Use this when you don't know the address or need to find something close by.

    You can find a map of another city in your State and even route to that city. Press <Menu> and then <Find> and finally <Address>. The WorldNav 3000 XL will prompt you for the state and the city. Just press <Next> on the © 2006 TeleType Co.
