Playback of recorded clips
When you play recorded clips on a TV using an HDMI cable for connection, you need to
change the settings of the camcorder depending on the video format of the recorded clips.
Make the following settings on the menu of the camcorder.
1. In the thumbnail screen, select a clip that you want to play, and check the video
format.
2. Set [Video Format] in [Rec Format] of the System menu according to the video
format of the clip you want to play.
Notes
When [Rec Format] is not set to the same frame rate as the video format of the recorded
ˎ
clip, a
mark appears on the screen and playback is not available.
3. Set [HDMI] in [Output Format] of the Video menu.
When viewing clips recorded in 4K image quality (3840×2160) on a TV supporting 4K:
Set [HDMI] in [Output Format] of the Video menu to “3840×2160P.”
Notes
The default setting value is “3840×2160P.” When [Video Format] in [Rec Format] is set to
ˎ
HD image quality (1920×1080), the setting of HDMI output changes to “1920×1080P.” Set
the HDMI output setting to “3840×2160P” again to change the image quality to 4K.
Clips whose video format is “3840×2160 59.94P” or “3840×2160 50P” are output via HDMI
ˎ
with the Sony transmission system. If clips cannot play on the TV, set [HDMI] in [Output
Format] of the Video menu to “1920×1080P” or “1920×1080i.” Images will then be output
in HD image quality (supported formats depend on the TV you use).
When viewing clips on a TV not supporting 4K or clips recorded in HD image quality
(1920×1080):
Set [HDMI] in [Output Format] of the Video menu to “1920×1080P” or “1920×1080i.”
Notes
Supported formats depend on your TV.

Images cannot be output when the setting value is “3840×2160P.”

Відтворюючи записані кліпи на телевізорі з використанням кабелю HDMI для
