INSTALLATION

Power supply
This microwave oven requires a power supply of approximately 15 Amperes, 120 Volts, 60 Hz and a
grounded outlet. A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of the user becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord. Longer cord sets or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised.
If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the oven.
The extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord. The longer cord should be arranged so it does
not drape over the table top or counter where children can pull on it or trip over it.

AUTOMATIC FAN PROTECTION FEATURE
Cooking appliances installed under the oven may,
under some heavy usage conditions, cause
temperatures high enough to overheat some
internal parts of the microwave oven.
To prevent overheating from taking place, the
exhaust fan is designed to automatically turn on if
excessive temperatures occur. Should this

happen, the fan cannot be manually turned off, but
it will automatically turn off when the internal parts
have cooled. The fan may stay on up to
approximately 30 minutes after the range and
microwave oven controls have been turned off.
