SCRATCH: Moving the JOG WHEEL emulates
scratching with vinyl. Can be performed
independently, or in parallel with other effects.
BRAKE: Engages vinyl turntable 'motor off' effect
emulation. Can be performed independently, or in
parallel with another effect.
REVERSE: Simply reverses music playback. Can be
performed independently, or in parallel with other
effect.
PHASER: Two copies of the same sound are
played back slightly out of sync' to produce a
swirling, often metallic sound effect.
FLANGER: Similar to a PHASER but with one copy
played with constantly fluctuating playback speed to
produced a slightly more dramatic and less metallic
effect.
FILTER: High Pass and Low Pass filters for completely
removing either high or low frequencies from your
music.
CHOP: Chops music into slices & plays alternate slices.
PAN: Throws the sound from side to side in the stereo
sound field.
ECHO: Introduces repeated echoes of your music.
2! SELECT - When in Effect mode this selects the
individual Effect Parameter to be adjusted via the
SCOPE control.
2@ SCOPE - When in Effect mode this alters the
currently selected Effect Parameter as selected via
the SELECT control.
2# SEAMLESS LOOP SECTION - You can create a
seamless Loop of any section of audio from a CD. To
create a Loop; 1. Identify a section of a track you
wish to Loop and pause playback a few seconds
before the section starts. 2. Press play. 3. Press
BUTTON 'A' at the precise moment you wish to be the
start of your Loop. 4. Press the B LOOP/EXIT
BUTTON at the precise moment you wish to be the
end of your Loop. 5. Your Loop should now play
continuously. 6. To exit the Loop and return to normal
CD playback press the B LOOP/EXIT BUTTON again.
7. You can jump straight back to playing your Loop
again at any time by pressing the RELOOP BUTTON.
2$ SAMPLER SECTION - Samples are short recordings of
sound that can be played at the same time as the music
from your CD. There is a maximum of 39 seconds of
audio sampling time that is shared by the three Sample
buttons. To record a sample; 1. Identify the start of a
section of music on a CD you wish to sample and pause
playback a few seconds before the section starts. 2.
Press play. 3. Press the SAMPLER button. 4. Press one
of the SAMPLE 1, 2 or 3 buttons at the precise moment
you wish to be the start of your sample. 5. To set the
sample end point press the appropriate SAMPLE button
again at the correct moment.

output connector for use with digital amplifiers, mixers or
computers.

Start output of a suitably equipped mixer. Please ensure
you select the correct REMOTE START format to suit your
mixer using the TACT/LOCK switch.
