A Warning identifies conditions and procedures that are
dangerous to the user. A Caution identifies conditions and
procedures that can cause damage to the Product or the
equipment under test.
To prevent possible electrical shock, fire, or personal
injury, use only the Fluke 1730 Energy Logger to charge
the battery.
To prevent decrease of battery capacity, charge it at
least twice a year.
The battery pack, Fluke BP1730, has been tested in accordance
with:
UN Manual of Tests and Criteria Part III Subsection 38.3
(ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.3) – more commonly known as the
UN T1..T8 – tests, and has been found to comply with the
stated criteria

  • Page 3 A failed battery pack shall be properly disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Dispose of properly: do not dispose of the battery as unsorted municipal waste. Go to Fluke’s website for recycling information. Dispose in discharged condition and cover the battery terminals with isolation tape.
