REVELATION 4K UPSCALER
Upscaling is the two-step process Sharp's 4K Ultra HD LED TV uses to receive
and evaluate a lower resolution image signal (i.e., 1080p) and create new
information to produce a more detailed 4K (3840 x 2160) image.
First, a dual-core processor fine-tunes the original signal for optimal picture
quality. Next, Sharp's proprietary Revelation 4K Upscaler analyzes and
enhances the content to create a 4K (3840 × 2160) image. Movies, TV shows,
video games, and even YouTube videos are analyzed and digitally enriched,
unlocking scores of hidden details.

In earning the first THX 4K certification, the AQUOS® 4K Ultra HD LED TV
