    Using Your FPD 1540 Monitor Connecting the monitor To connect the monitor: Position your computer and the monitor so you can easily reach the back panel of each. Make sure that your computer is turned off. Remove the cable cover on the back of the monitor.

For example, you can increase the resolution to fit more icons on your desktop, or you can decrease the resolution to make reading and identifying objects on the monitor easier.
