Using Quick Effects
When in _ (auto) mode, you car] appWy effects to images imrnediatdy after releasing tile
shutter.
• The edited image is saved as a separate file with a different name (_92).

Press the _) button when the image is
displayed after it is taken in _ (auto) mode .....
• When you press the MENUbutton or when no operations
are performed for about five seconds, the monitor display
returns to the shooting screen.
• To not display the screen shown on the right, set Quick
effects to Off (_62),
_I Press the multi selector _ or i_ to select the
desired effect and press the I_) button.
• Rotate the zoom control (_3) to T (C() to switch to full
frame playback mode or W (_;_) to six image thumbnail
playback mode.
• To exit without saving the edited image, press the MENU
button. When a confirmation dialog is displayed, select Yes
and press the _) button.
• See "Quick Effects" (_ 14) for more information about the effect types. _

• A new, edited copy is created and the monitor display returns to the shooting screen.
• Copies created with the quick effects function are indicated by the _ icon displayed during
playback (_ 10).
