Insert the battery Insert the battery as shown in the label at the entrance to the battery chamber, making sure that the posi- tive (“+”) and negative (“–”) termi- nals are in the correct orientation.

Place the camera in the COOL-STATION with the monitor to- wards you, making sure that the connector is fully inserted in the matching connector on the COOL-STATION.

Take pictures Take pictures Picture Storage Picture Storage Pictures are stored either in the camera’s 12 MB internal memory or on remov- able memory cards. In the description that follows, pictures are stored in internal memory. Turn the computer on and wait for Windows to start up. Before proceeding to the next step, turn off any virus-checking software and exit any other applications that may be running.
