Drop the feed dogs, Match the holes on a buttor_ with the

horizor_tal slot or_the Presser foot. Adjust stitch width

matchir_g the distance of the holes or_the buttor_. Lower the

foot to hold the button in place. Check to see if the r_eedle

er_ters into the holes on the button by turr_ing the

har_dwheel by har_d Sew about ter_ (10) stitches.

To strangther_ the shanK, cut the threads leavir_g about 40"

(10,0 cm), Brir_g the r_eedle thread dowr_ through one of the

holes or_the button and wired it araur_d the shank. Brir_g the

needle thread to the wror_g side (bottom side) and kr_ot,

After buttor_ sewir_g is completed, raise the feed dogs for

normal sewing,
