  • Page 2 1 tHE KEYS to YoUr CAr - there are three buttons on the fob, which release the metal key, lock and unlock the car. - the locking button (B) also has some additional features: - Deadlocking the car – disconnects the door handles both on the outside and inside as a security measure.
  • Page 3 3 LooKinG AroUnD tHE oUtSiDE oF tHE VEHiCLE FUeL FLAP - the tank capacity is 50 litres. - During the filling of the tank, the filler cap can be hung on the hook on the inside of the flap. (For more details please refer to page 60 of the owner’s handbook). TYReS - the recommended tyre pressures are indicated on a label on the inside of the front passenger’s door frame.

(For more details please refer to page 79 of the owner’s handbook). ToRCH (oN exCLUSIve ModeL) - the boot light, can also be used as a torch which lasts up to 45 minutes using the rechargeable batteries.

Either to maximise the boot space (lower), or to provide a flat load floor (upper). (For more details please refer to page 78 of the owner’s handbook). BooT FLAPS - the Flaps (B) are used to bridge the gap when the rear seats are either in their forward most position or folded down, providing a flat load floor, when the boot floor is in the upper position.

    4 LooKinG AroUnD tHE inSiDE oF tHE VEHiCLE SPARe WHeeL - the spare wheel is stored under the boot mat. - this is a ‘space-saver’ spare wheel. it is intended as a temporary measure and should not be used at speeds in excess of 50mph.
  • Page 7 4 LooKinG AroUnD tHE inSiDE oF tHE VEHiCLE ReAR CeNTRe SeAT BeLT - the car is fitted with a third rear central seat belt which is roof-mounted and held in place magnetically. - there are two buckles which are slightly different sizes and two stalks on the seats which are different colours and sizes to aid distinction, allowing for correct installation.

FRoNT PASSeNGeR SeAT FoLdING (oN exCLUSIve ModeL) (Not available with part leather interior trim) - the front seat folds down by lifting the lever at the top of the seat back on the door side.

    5 DriVEr’S SEAt, inStrUMEntS AnD ControLS WINdSCReeN WIPeRS ‘MAINTeNANCe PoSITIoN’ - For up to one minute after switching off the ignition, press the windscreen wiper stalk down and the wipers will move to a vertical position. - this allows for the screen/wiper blades to be cleaned, changed or positioned for winter parking without risking damage to the bonnet.

CooLANT TeMPeRATURe WARNING LIGHT - in addition to the standard red engine temperature warning light, the C3 Picasso has been fitted with a blue light indicating that the engine is cold. When illuminated, avoid any excessive acceleration.

    5 DriVEr’S SEAt, inStrUMEntS AnD ControLS CHILd LoCKS - Press button (A) on the window control panel located on the driver’s door on an Exclusive, or on the dashboard for Vt and Vtr+. - this prevents the rear windows and doors from being opened from the rear seats. A warning lamp in the instrument panel lights up for approximately 10 seconds each time the ignition is switched on.

    6 Air ConDitioninG (For more details on the Air conditioning system fitted please refer to pages 37 - 42 of the owner’s handbook). ReAR SCReeN de-ICING - the Exclusive model has heated door mirrors which are activated by pressing the rear screen de-icing button.
  • Page 15 STABILITY PRoGRAM (eSP) WITH TRACTIoN CoNTRoL (ASR) - the C3 Picasso comes with ABS, EBD and EBA as standard and optional ESP/ASr on Vtr+ and Exclusive models, except on the 1.6HDi 16V 110hp with DPFS where it is standard.

    7 SAFEtY ISoFIx ReAR PASSeNGeR SeAT - For iSoFiX child seats, the rear outer seats have iSoFiX points, with roof mounted top tether points. (For more details please refer to page 84 of the owner’s handbook). 8 otHEr rECoMMEnDAtionS AUdIo SYSTeM WITH RdS FM/AM RAdIo ANd Cd, MP3 PLAYeR & AUx JACK SoCKeTS - As well as the standard features of the radio, there are some additional choices which can be made, such as vehicle settings and radio parameters, changing the display screen, darkening the display screen for night time driving, traffic Announcements and playing of MP3 music.
