The speed buttons

There are by default four large graphical speed buttons displayed on the CardioVisions startup screen.
These buttons ensure fast and easy access to the basic, most typically used program functions. The
upper left speed button lets you add a new patient to the database. The upper right speed button takes
you to the database browser screen where you can open existing data. The lower left speed button lets
you choose a monitoring plan and initialize the ABPM-04 recorder. The lower right speed button lets
you upload data from a recorder to your database, display just uploaded data and create a report.
Speed button - Adding a new patient to the database
Opens the New patient wizard where you can add a new patient to the database
using a step-by-step guided function. Patient data displayed in bold are required;
other fields are optional.
Speed button - Opening the database screen
Takes you to the database screen where you can browse folders, select patients
and examinations.
Speed button - Programming the ABPM-04 recorder
Opens the ABPM programming wizard to select a patient, then select - and
optionally modify - a standard monitoring plan, or create a brand new plan, see it
summarized, then send it to an ABPM-04 device properly connected to the
computer. This step-by-step guided procedure will initialize the device to
perform a monitoring session with the parameters you used in the plan.
Speed button – Loading monitoring results from recorder to database
Opens the Load data from ABPM recorder wizard to load ABPM results from
a properly connected ABPM-04 recorder to the database, display just uploaded
data in a quick chart view, then optionally create and print a standard ABPM
report.
