Viewing Pictures on TV
Connecting_ the Camera to High Definition (HD)_ TVs
When an HDMI cable (available from third-party suppliers) is connected, pictures and sound are played
back on the TV.

Tune the television to the video or HDMI input channel. See the documentation supplied with the
television for details.

Pressthe [] button for about a second to turn the camera on. The camera monitor turns off and
pictures and movies are played back on the TV. Note that the camera volume controls have no ef-
fect
onsounds played on the TV; use t he television volume controls toadjust the volume.

When connecting the cable, be surethe connectors are fully inserted.
