MOVIE ZOOM TYPEoption in tile setup menu (_ 96).
_' If the subject is poorly lit, tile AF-assistlamp may light to assisttile focus operation.
To turn the AF-assistlamp off, select OFF for [] AF ILLUMINATOR (_ 96).
Focus, exposure and white balance are adjusted automatically throughout
recording (the focus mode carl be selected using the rdnMOVIE AF MODE option
in tile shooting menu; _ 78). The color and brightness of the image may vary from
that displayed before recording begins.
Sounds made by the camera may be recorded.
(!>Do not open the battery-chamber cover during shooting or saving a movie on a
memory card. Failure to observe this precaution could prevent the movie from
being played back.
(l) Vertical or horizontal streaksmay appear in movies containing very bright subjects.
This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction.
(l) The temperature of the camera may rise if it is used to record moviesfor an extended
period or if the ambient temperature is high. This is normal and does not indicate
a malfunction.
(l) The mode selected may vary with shooting conditions.
