Macro and Super Macro Modes (Close-ups)
For close-ups, press the selector left (_) to choose from the macro options shown below.

When macro mode is in effect, the camera focuses on subjects near the center of the frame. Use the
zoom control to compose pictures. In super macro mode, optical zoom can not be adjusted and the
flash can not be used.

• Useof a tripod is recommended to prevent blur caused by camera shake.
• Flashcompensation may be required when using the flash (_ 79).
• Using tile flash at close range may cast a lens shadow. Zoom a little or have more distance from the subject.
