Installing and Removing the Battery and Card

Setting [gt_t: Release shutter without
card] to [Disable]
wi!l prevent
you from forgetting to insert a card.

Set the power
switch
to <OFF>
(p.27).
Open
the cover.
®_Make sure the access lamp is off,
then open the cover.
®_ If [Recording...]
is displayed, close
the cover.
Remove
the battery.
® Press the battery lock lever as shown
by the arrow and remove the battery.
_ To prevent short circuiting of the
battery contacts, be sure to attach the
provided protective cover (p.22) to
the battery.
Remove
the card.
_ Gently push in the card, then let go to
eject it.
_ Pull the card straight out.
_
Close the cover.
_ Press the cover until it snaps shut.
