Dictation
For hands-free dictation, insert the DPM into the slot and use the DPM as you normally would. Make sure the
DPM Docking Station is not connected to the PC via the USB connection; in USB mode, dictation is not possible.
Charging the NiMH rechargeable batteries (LFH 9144 )
Insert the DPM into the slot and make sure the DPM Docking Station is connected to the mains power supply
(green LED). Then switch off the DPM via the Lock/Hold switch; this starts recharging the batteries. While the
batteries are being recharged, the red LED is on. When the batteries are fully charged, the red LED starts to
blink.
Transferring data
Insert the DPM into the slot and press it down firmly until it locks. Make sure the DPM Docking Station is
connected to the PC. The data transfer starts automatically or by pressing the DL/S button on the DPM
depending on how you have configured the download process with the DPM Download/Configuration program.
