Movies cannot be played back using multi-frame
playback. Use the "DISP" button to select single-frame
playback.

If the sound is difficult to hear, adjust the volume

If the subject of the shot is very bright, white vertical
streaks or black horizontal streaks may appear in the
image during playback. This is normal and does not
indicate a fault.
Description
Playback begins. Playback automatically stops when the
end of the movie is reached. During playback, this button
pauses the movie.
Stops playback.
✽ Press "d" or "c" while movie playback is stopped to go back
to the previous file or advance to the next file respectively.
Hold down "d" or "c" for approximately 1 second during
playback to rewind or fast-forward through the movie. See
P.57 for details.
Each time you press "d" or "c" when the movie is paused,
the movie advances or goes back one frame.
Hold down "d" or "c" for approximately 1 second while the
movie is paused to switch to slow playback. See P.57 for
details.

You can rewind or fast-forward through the
movie or switch to slow playback by holding
down "d" or "c" for approximately 1 second.

1 When you use fast-forward, rewind or slow
playback, the operation help display on the
screen (➡P.59) changes to show the list of
speeds.
2 You can adjust the speed step-by-step
through the 4 levels by repeatedly pressing
the same arrow button ("d" or "c").

Fast-forward, rewind and slow playback can also be
used in the reverse direction (rewind in the case of fast-
forward).

Pressing "b" during fast-forward, rewind or slow
playback starts up normal playback from the
current scene.

the movie. Note that pressing "a" does not stop fast-
forward, rewind or slow playback.
