Section 4: Your People List
This section allows you to manage your daily contacts by
storing their name, number, email, and other information in
your phone using the People feature.
Adding a New Contact
Use the following procedure to store a new contact to
your People list.
1. From the Home screen, touch
2. Swipe to the all list.
3. Touch
add contact. The CREATE CONTACT IN screen
appears.
4. Select your Microsoft account or add another account
to store the new contact.
5. To assign a picture to the new contact, touch
add photo. The CHOOSE PICTURE screen appears.
• Select a picture from your photos or touch
a new picture with your camera.
• When you have made a selection, touch

name. The EDIT NAME screen appears.

7. Enter the First name and Last name for the new
contact.
You can also scroll down to enter additional
information. (For more information, refer to "Entering
Text" on page 32.)
8. To save your name entries, touch

PHONE NUMBER screen appears with the Phone number
field highlighted. The numerical keypad also appears.
10. Enter a number.
11. To indicate the type of number, touch the Phone number
type field and select a number type.
12. To save your number entries, touch
13. To enter an email address for your contact, touch
email. The EDIT EMAIL screen appears with the
Email address field highlighted.
