Dissemble and assemble
The first thing you need to do is separate the rubber boot from the case. The boot covers a plastic exoskeleton
that the phone fits in. The rubber boot is a tight fit to ensure complete protection against dirt, sand, and
splashes. The best way to open the case is to start at the bottom, between the LED status indicator and the
mophie logo on the front, by lifting the small tab to begin to separate the rubber boot from the plastic.
After you remove the rubber portion of the case, you will be left with the plastic case. That separates into two
pieces. The first is the screen protector and sides. The second is the battery and bottom/connector piece.
The front (screen) piece clips onto the back (battery) portion. There are four attachment points, two on either
side. Once you release one or more of the points, the two pieces should separate rather easily.
After the case is disassembled, the phone fits onto the 30 pin connector and rests in the case. Reattach the
screen protector and the phone will be enclosed in the case. The last part is stretching the rubber boot
back over the case. This might seem awkward and it will take a little getting used to. Make sure you have the
rubber portion tucked in around all the bumps to ensure proper protection. Once again, this might take a
little time and getting used to, to get it just right.
