Basics to operate your Omnia Using Widgets Widgets are user friendly shortcuts to commonly used applications allowing you to customise the Today screen. Drag a widget from the toolbar to the Today screen. You can position the widget anywhere on the screen but cannot add the more widgets you want.

Applications running in the background will drain more battery and may cause your Omnia to run slowly. End unnecessary programs using Task Switcher or Task Manager. Via Task Switcher: Press and hold the Main menu key.

Resetting your Omnia If your Omnia responds slowly, stops responding, or freezes, perform a soft reset. A soft reset causes the Omnia to restart and re-adjust memory allocation. Unsaved data in an open window may be lost. Press the Rest key inside the hole which is next to the Power key.
Aligning the screen If your Omnia does not respond accurately to your taps, realign the screen. → → tab → From the Today screen, tap Start Settings System Screen → Align Screen. Follow on-screen instructions.
