When entering text with the 3x4 keypad, you can use the
following modes:
Mode
ABC
XT9 (Predictive
text)
Number
Symbol
Function
1. Select ABC to switch to ABC mode.
2. Select a corresponding virtual key until
the appropriate character appears.
1. In ABC mode, select XT9. The dot next
to XT9 turns green.
2. Select corresponding virtual keys to
enter a word.
3. When the word appears correctly,
select
correct word does not appear, select
and an alternative word from the
list that appears.
1. Select 123 to switch to Number mode.
2. Select a number.
You can enter numbers by tapping
and holding a virtual key in ABC or
XT9 mode.
1. Select ?#+ to switch to Symbol mode.
2. Select ◄ or ► to scroll to a symbol set.
3. Select a symbol.
